Our next gigs - What you need to know.
Nazareth student solo performance evening
Woodville Town Hall - Wed 15 Sept - our usual rehearsal venue and time
Andrew's music students will be performing with us and some solo pieces to an audience of parents.
Please wear all black. Supper will be provided during the break.
We will leave the band set up at the end of the performance ready for the following night Citizenship Ceremony.
Citizenship Ceremony at Woodville Town Hall - Thursday 16 September
Be there from 5.15pm, ready to play at 5.45pm.
As usual we will play some music before the ceremony starts at 6pm, a feature piece and finish with the national anthem.
The ceremony should be over by 7.30pm.
Membership fees
Thank you to those who have paid membership for this year. This membership fee ensures you are covered by our public liability insurance so it is important. Fees are $30 or $20 concession, and are payable to Jason.
New members welcome
A reminder that new members are always welcome to join the band. If you know anyone who may be interested in joining the band, please invite them to come to rehearsal. More musicians are needed in every section!
FRIENDS OF BAND
Please encourage your friends and family to become official Friends of the Band so we can let them know about
upcoming gigs. Sign up sheets will be distributed to members at rehearsal,
so start recruiting. Give any email or postal addresses to Robert so they can be added to our mailing list.
